Am currently sat waiting for Leo to pass his MOT medical.
And just heard the magic words. “All good, that’s a pass.”

You're right, but I wrote all my code from scratch, so it's working on both an Arduino Uno and the Attiny85 I linked to. At least, I should say, the bench prototype is working on both!
Good skills

Thank you! Your thread had certainly given me some inspiration for mine. Rather than going for a "one-touch", I've programmed it so you have to tap the button three times within a second for it to fully open or close, otherwise it operates as normal.
I've just ordered parts to start assembly (decided to go with one of these), I may be in touch shortly about assembly tips
Treated the roof with the Autoglym kit over the weekend- have been rewarded with perfect top down weather today!
Might work, but the code that is out there may not work with that board. You'd need to rewrite the code to deal with the different pinouts on the board.

Drove to Sutton and back to collect a Lapis blue hardtop and stand for my car. When i got home both my wife and my two daughers shouted - yuck, that doesnt look nice and even worse said that it made my car look like a MX5 ?
I will be selling the hardtop no sooner than i got it. Let me know if anyone wants a Lapis blue hardtop in as new condition with stand.
If you HAVE to sell it..... let me know. Stick with it for a while., I think the other guys are right. You have to give these things time.

Just completed the roof relay mod, it's great being able to operate the roof in slow traffic!
I'm having a go at the one touch mod next
I’m making a bunch of those at the moment. If you want any help.

Just arrived back from a long weekend with the wife in Harrogate.
Our first long run in Leo but all good. I was a bit nervous, if I’m honest, as my last long run ended with me blowing up the water pump and being recovered home.
Did find the back of the seats getting quite hot though. Is that normal? I know the engine is right behind them but the carpet wasn’t that warm to touch.
Off out to de-cemetery the bumper and windscreen as I’m off to Rotterdam in him tomorrow. (Added Euro breakdown last week, let’s hope I don’t need it.)

Hi are you selling your old wheel? I have a tippy with a 4 spoke and want to upgrade to a 3 spoke.
Sorry, @karlp606 Royal Steering Wheels have it, so they can do the next one for someone else.
I suspect that he'd do a deal though if you asked him.

Got the snow off. Went for a drive. All good. Now off to Guildford. Let’s hope it doesn’t rain and freeze tonight.

Going to get the snow off the car today and see how we are inside. #FirstTimeFrozen

Finally, trust my car not to leak after Dean at @Eporsch Limited did me a solid by adjusting the passenger window in a bit at the top. Need to borrow/buy a dehumidifier now and leave it in there for a few days to make sure it's dry inside.
QuoteAny tips on getting a power cable into the car without compromising water tightness?
Also waiting for warmer weather to get out and start claying and machine polishing. I want to know how bad the paint is before I decide if I'm going to bother fixing it.

More details please, make model, cost?
I saw those on the desk at eporsch this week when Leo was in for his new water pump. Not for me though as I have litronics already.
-
Turns out the water pump had gone bad. All fixed now and collecting Leo tomorrow.
-
Car is now with @Eporsch Limited and waiting for a call from Dean to explain what’s broken and how much it might cost to fix.
-
I’ve gotten over it but Leo is still dead on the drive until I can get him to eporsch this week.
-
I got recovered to home at 02:30 this morning.

Very nice.
What are your plans for the old wheels?
Cheers, Baggers.
Refurb them and use them as my Summer wheels, unless you want to make me a very silly offer for them.

Changed my wheels from these
To these

Fixed aircon control unit by replacing the fuse. (it the simple things) ;o)
(If anyone ever wants a 7.5a fuse, I have 49 of them left. Might keep one or two as spares....)

Not today, but Saturday.
Got the covers back off of Leo and washed the roof with shampoo, rinsed, rinsed, rinsed, dried it. Fabsil Gold and let it dry while I went to Twickenham to watch London Irish stuff the Harlequins. Yay!!!
Got home and put the covers back on.
Not had the courage to pull the covers off yet and test if I can get a decent shot for the bead porn thread yet, but may get brave today.

Got the whole of the lower centre console out last night and then put it all back again. Found the battery was getting weak without it being driven and the roof going up and down a bunch, so jump started it and took it for a 'spirited' drive.
Seems a lot better behaved under pressure now the rear link arms are new. ;o) Very happy smile when I got home again.
What have YOU done to your 986 today ?
