I did consider the newer 718 GTS however having driven my car I knew it was the one I wanted .
Out of curiosity did Harbour budge on the sticker price for you ? They held firm on mine
No, not a penny off. They claim to have had multiple interest.

Harbour Cars are going well at the moment, I also bought a BGTS from them 2 weeks ago. It was the one that featured in this YouTube video

What do you get for Option 630 Interior lights package
I have read you can retrofit the footwell lights with the Rocketwire Kit. What else is missing?
-
Anyone have the part no for the Audi LED Light Housings
-
Do we have any PIWIS guru's in the Oxon area ?
-
That would be great, I can check it against my old Boxster. Would you like to PM me.

I want to put the "Porsche" lettering rear bonnet on my new 981. I have no guidelines as the letters have already been removed.
There are templates at silly prices.
https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKUTEMP981BGTS.html
I read somewhere there may be a template ion the workshop manual? Any insights on this ?

Cotswold Porsche had my PSE on order from May 2022. It arrived just before Christmas and was fitted a couple of weeks ago. I think I was #1 on the back order list. So if you are looking for one I would suggest you start asking again about delivery dates.
They now have a perfectly OK standard exhaust in the corner of their workshop, if anyone wants it let me know.

Cotswold Porsche says I am #1 on the backorder list, I have had this on order since May 22. The next update will be in Nov, I am not hopeful.

Cotswold Porsche have had one on order for me since May.
-
Some of the OEM parts in the PSE kit are still on back order. Cotswold Porsche ordered the bits in May.

Anyone know the torque setting for condenser and drier connections. Holiday job ahead.
-
I foolishly ordered the drier and PAG46 oil from Autodoc. I did not realise they are German based, ordered last Tues and has still not come so my weekend job did not happen.
I tried to get a thimble of AC Condenser oil over the weekend from Kwik Fit and ATS to al least do the condensers, it was like I was speaking a foreign language, totally unhelpful.
-
yes, still got the 488. I have emailed Dick Lovett, Porsche ask asked for a price. Is the £2,593.00 price on the tequipment link still current?
-
If you going the GB owners club can you get a discount on the parts?
-
The only thing my 981 (non S) is missing is the PSE. Anyone got recent prices on a retrofit. It is an OPC only job or could a good independent do it. I only want to go OEM on the exhaust side.
-
I am starting to put together a shopping list to change out the drier and condensers on my 2012 Boxster. I would welcome someone checking I have it all correct and it can serve as a useful future resource.

I have read I need 3 0-rings for the drier but can only find 2 in the parts list ?

Great thoughts everyone, do I need the power jump from a non-S in reality? I have not driven a GTS yet, I can't find one within 50miles of me I have thought of fitting a PSE as some have suggested.

I was thinking similar spec 981 GTS for about £52-£55K. WBAC has mine at £25.5K today, its shocking. There is noting in the market with my spec for under £30k

Spring is here, I am thinking of upgrading of my 981 to a GTS.
What should I expect to get for her, any thoughts on the current market.

Nice YouTube video shows how to do it using PIWIS. Start at 6mins in if you wish. I would like to active this and also programme the auto start stop off as well. But I cannot find a PIWIS guru near me.
