Swapping German for Italian….. you must be mad. That £10k will be spent on maintenance and repairs very quickly if you do!

That is rather nice, would have really set it off if it had the Yellow PCCB callipers
100%, although I’m not totally sure about carbon ceramics unless you are tracking it all the time.

@JohnSyn I’ve been drooling all over this since last night. Stunning 🤩

Just double checked, only the congestion charge applies to my 02 Boxster S, no ULEZ charge applies. And noticed the congestion charge is also temporarily being applied at weekends!
You mean temporarily, temporarily, until it applies everyday for ever and ever….

High road tax = less than a half pint of beer each evening! The sport edition will give you more smiles too 🙂

Stunning! Even better than silver perhaps.

Congrats... extremely jealous!

Stunning. I fully intend to buy one of these myself..... one day!

Took her out for an ‘essential’ drive. 😀 First time out in her for a couple of weeks and great to be back behind the wheel. These are such awesome little cars!!!

managed to drop on a pair of red rears, to replace the flaky delaminated originals, both bought individually, for a price less than half the cost of one knew one, it pays to search around, in fact as part of Boxta ownership, wether it’s servicing, overhauling , modifying , spirited runs out, is another avenue I enjoy , finding bargains!!
Put new all red rears on my SE in the summer due to the common flaking issue on the originals. It makes a hell of a difference to the look of the car, much cleaner and meaner! 😀

Had a Morris Ital (don't judge me)
Work mate had an Allegro.
We could open and start each other's cars with the excuse of a key provided.
Oh the hours of fun spent hide/find the car in nearby streets...
I had a Morris minor. You could open it up with pretty much anything. Added to that, if you opened the bonnet and jammed a 2p between two of the fuses In the fuse box you could hand crank it started too!

They are new ones which I managed to get on eBay and they turned out to be pristine, so a lucky find. I am not sure how the flaked ones can be fixed which is why I bought these.
Nail varnish has been suggested as a stop gap.
I recently also fitted new units. Makes such a difference to the look of the car and I wish I’d done it earlier now. Been meaning to get round to it for a couple of years!

Looked at photos of her. I don’t keep her at home and haven’t seen her for 4 weeks 😩

Very nice. Enjoy driving and making her yours!

Good write up. I’ll have to check mine now!
