Anyone?

Thanks andygo, but not sure that will fix my instrument cluster?!

Hi all
Over the last few weeks I've started to get a nasty spider effect on the middle part of my cluster. On reading other forums it may be due to cold/damp weather and just sitting there in the garage.
Any one ever removed the cluster? Or got it repaired? There is a company that will repair it, but they want it removed and shipped to them... worried about ease of removal, loss of data etc etc
Thanks in advance! -
@beaks that looks like a great idea, solves any issues with getting the bumper to fit when there is too much overlap mesh behind the front intake (as the mesh pushes against the intake cowling).
I decided to go fully dark so that I could not see the plastic intake cowling at all from a glance. -
Fitted colour centre caps, removed front bumper and fitted mesh grilles on the inside, my first upgrades!

Had a crack at the weekend - pretty happy with the results

I'm going to do this - I know how to get the bumper off on my Cayman 987.1 - but I found the fog light wiring harness would not budge (or I was doing it wrong). I have posted in the How To section, but that's a mistake as I was asking for help, not giving advice as a sticky! This:
There is a 1:1 template for the Cayman but not useul for the Boxter unfortunatelyWas the 3.5mm x 5mm size the 'right' size/shape of hole do you think? Or any better size? There seems to be lots available.....
