Decided to go for the black fins in the front.
I didn’t re-fit the grilles as I want to trim them down a bit more and think of a better way to fit them. They looked perfect before but I knew they weren’t tidy on the bit you don’t see.
Couldn’t be bothered getting it out the garage just to take a full photo so here’s an earlier artist’s impression.
Looks good 👍

Yep, I recognised some of the earlier photos from the competition link and remember avoiding at the time.
80bhp seems a massive amount extra to get from an n/a car without extensive headwork, cams etc.
Thanks again all 👍

Thanks again Daz.
The history (I get) and extra 80-odd bhp (surely material when marketing the car) don't seem to be mentioned in the advert....

That's brilliant, many thanks gents 👍
Steps away from the GTS...

Any thoughts on this car greatly appreciated. Particularly the suspension

Looking good 👍
PS watched this with the sound off and subtitles on as Mrs_L was asleep. Took me a while to work out why you suddenly started havering while the fitting section happened

Where did you take it for the service if you don't mind my asking? Mine will be due the six year service soon and Norwich Porsche have quoted about £250 more than Autowerke.
ETA assuming it's Norwich Porsche if you've also extended the warranty?

Thanks all

Hi Folks, took my nephews out for a spin at the weekend and thought I'd better give them the full flat six experience so switched on the PSE. Nothing happened: the light came on, but no more noise.
So, off for a quick watch of Daz's film on YouTube* and out to the driveway with my phone camera. The exhaust valves are opening and closing on start-up and when the engine is turned off, but not when the switch is pressed. I assume this means the issue is with the solenoid in the engine bay? I had a quick Google of the part number mentioned and there seems to be a wide range available with a wide range of pricing. Many different ones seem to claim to be OE. Is there a best one for which to go? Thanks, Andy
*thanks Daz

I was fortunate enough to find a car with all three at a reasonable price. If I had to give up one of the three it would be sports chrono without a doubt.

I met him a couple of times back in the Lotus days. Let's say he divides opinion...

Yes indeed: Old Military Road all the way. We've done this route maybe a dozen times before in the Elise and the A9 never appeals

Just completed my first road trip: Norwich to Aviemore and back.
Pretty quiet when the roof was up, comfortable and so much luggage space 👍

👍 big improvement. As you say it breaks it up. Same with the black mats

Thanks 👍

Nice one, I am working on my install video, it's very long as you can imagine and looks like I'm doing a yoga session running the cables !
Rob, Daz, does the Joyeauto kit work with the dash multi function display? I heard the Unichip/NM Automotive alternative doesn't.
Thanks

Jurassic GRS: you have mail.
And definitely go for the PSE
