Hi, Ive started looking again at wireless CarPlay adapters and see Road Angel now do one. Does anyone have experience of this?
Also, prices vary quite a bit from c. £30 to about £100 but surely they all just do the same thing - what, if any, are the benefits of the more expensive ones? Thanks in advance.

I paid £955 in August 23 for the 8 year service on my 2015 BGTS at Leeds OPC. I was told the age of the car reduced the price from £1,300.

Renewed the warranty on my 2015 981 BGTS for 2-years at OPC Leeds.

When using wireless CarPlay via an adaptor, is your phone still connected by Bluetooth to the car? Thanks.
-
That’s very kind - any chance you could share details and a photo? I couldn’t see what it looks like on the NM site.
Thanks again.

My 2018 Macan has wired car play and yes, it works when the phone is plugged in. The reason I’m looking for a wireless adapter is that my 15 pro max doesn’t fit in the console! 😂😂

Thanks - I’ll have a look.

Hi,
Any recommendations for a wireless Apple CarPlay adapter to use with an iPhone in my 2018 Macan?
Thoughts appreciated.

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the cost at RPM? Thanks.

Decided to have a run out after the 8-year service so went to Whitby and had a great day (including the obligatory visit to the Magpie! 🤣).

I was told it would generally be about £1,300 but that it was reduced rate due to age of car (2015).

Hi Andy, no worries, it was £955 including VAT. To be honest I’ve only driven it a few miles back home, however I doubt it will feel any different to me.
As an aside I got the timesheet from the service department - work began at 9.27am and lasted until 4.07pm so 6.5 hours!- 1

Hi, I’ve just this afternoon taken my 981 BGTS in to OPC Leeds for the 8-year service and MOT tomorrow. Fingers crossed it all goes well!

I also have a Boxster 981 GTS and it’s at OPC next week for its 8 year service. I plan to mention the Macan headlight whilst I’m there - fingers crossed!

Hi All,
I love my newly purchased 2018 Macan GTS but one headlight always has a huge amount of condensation. Whilst it has Porsche warranty, what simple measures could I try to resolve it?
Thoughts appreciated.

It seems to be possible to buy a CarPlay adapter to plug in rather than the phone which then results in wireless CarPlay. Plenty on Amazon.

Seen a Gen 1 Macan GTS today that I’ll probably make an offer on.
Quick question please: it has Apple car play but seems to be wired (need to have phone connected by cable). Is it possible to change to wireless?
Thoughts appreciated!

Two questions please:
1). BGTS is going for 8 year service in a couple of weeks at my local OPC. Is it worth asking for maps upgrade and how much would be reasonable?
2). Speed limit display seems out of date on some roads. Is this automatically updated ( for example when maps are) or is it something I could arrange?
Any thoughts appreciated!

8 year service inc spark plugs, brake fluid, drive belt check and engine mount check is £955 inc vat.

Booked the 2015 BGTS in for 8 year service in October at OPC Leeds along with the MOT. Current warranty runs until January 24.

I hadn’t thought of the battery drain - thank you.
