fitted it myself, Ive done about 100 miles and Gert did say it will get better with miles but he didnt say how many miles

Not overly so but the state of the roads around Devon make it difficult to tell, I have been looking for a DSC controller but cheapest I've found so far is still £800 which is a little expensive as car is a weekend toy really.

The car is on 35mm lowered springs if your interested

My car has PASM & sits on 19" wheels with H & R lowered springs, 15mm spacers rear & 7mm spacers front.

Oops  I re used my old ones but they are not stuck to the pads, didnt know they were supposed to be stuck to the pads, No squeal yet!!

Those inner pistons are very ineffective that leads to that amount of corrosion.Don’t worry the outer pad and disk general massive  area plenty covers braking n normal use . 

It wasn't the inside surface of the disc that was corroded more the part the fits over the hub, but will check the bleed nipples are not seized. The inner caliper pistons moved ok, didn't take a lot of force to push them back when fitting the pads.

Handbrake shoes (this design is common on many marques) is one of those jobs that once you've worked it out takes minutes rather than hours the next time.

 

A little worse, the metal had begun to flake away on the insides 😲

Fitted new discs & pads all round, discs were very badly corroded on the inside which you cant see till you take them off!!

But the bloody handbrake shoes, whos stupid idea was it to use the springs & clips from hell, I have decided i will happily pay someone to change the handbrake shoes in future, took me 1/2 a day.

Im awaiting my Carnewal GT exhaust and an Aliexpress headunit so a busy couple of weekends if the sun ever comes out
