Guest Posted June 12, 2003 Report Share Posted June 12, 2003 I have just changed my policy from the old car to the porker with elephant.co.uk, so I phoned them up to get a quote for the change, and they only wanted £130 for 3 months remaining on the policy....excellent I thought (considering the previous quote I got from them was nearer £300).Got the documents today (just 2 days after phonecall - impressed), on checking them over noticed that they have quoted my annual mileage as 1,000 and not the 10,000 I asked for...no wonder the premium was so cheap!Anyway, phoned their customer services (who picked up the phone straight away), told them of the error, they fixed it, and without asking volunteered to cover the difference in premiums, so no extra charge.Nice to see a company who will admit their mistakes and keep to their quoted price, even if it was in error.....well done!
