IR Baboon
The dreded time of year again - insurance renewal With Tescos at the moment, they want £698 (oh and don't forget the tracker subscription - another £100 per year)So, Norwich Union £767 errrr no thanks Sainsburys - £590 - better Halifax - £534 with £100 vol excess - much better Esure - £516 / £529 with £100 vol excess depending if i shoe horn the baby into the garage, no tracker needed £100 saved (bargin) The last 3 a good example of going up the "food chain" as all 3 are undewritten by Esure just as Direct Line does Tesco. It was so good I phoned to make sure that business cover is in there (important for hot summer days) and that the tracker isn't needed which were both confrmed.Just for comaprison, for me and dearly beloved to drive, 6 years NCD - protected in the quotes - 15,000 miles a year, no claims in the last 3 years and herself having 3pts on an sp30 and stored in the garage or drive way in the case of the final Esure number.Going to spend saving on a bottle of Bolly (each month if i want)
