Classic Car insurance

Recommended Posts

Hi guys and gals,

as my boxster hasn't sold and my cover needs to be renewed on the 15th i have started shopping about for cover. Had some funny quotes so far one being 12k lol.

Best so far is £860 which is shocking and has doubled from last year. Will i be able to get classic insurance on a 98 boxster? i have read a few posts on here of people having it?

i am 29 and have my license 11 years with a pass plus. I have 6 years no claims and 3 points for a sp30.

Cheers

Lewis

Gone stupid over the last 12 months hasn't it..?!

I paid more than double last years price this time round, after lots of shopping around.

Really had to do a lot of soul searching about keeping the car..

You should bed OK with classic insurance, most companies say car has to be 10yrs old. Ruby (site sponsor) have given the best quote for me so far. Mine has gone from £350 last year to renewal of £590 with swiftcover!
