New private insurance whilst having company no claims

hi all, I don't know if anyone has experienced this or can point me in the right direction.

I have been a company car sole driver for 16 years without claim or accident but can only prove the last 5 years due to corporate insurer switches.

I have not had my own personal private vehicle insurance but i am in the process of purchasing my first porsche boxster 3.2 S but I am struggling to find insurers who will accept a letter of company car no claims against my new private vehicle. The majority are saying I have to start with zero no claims, which is resulting in some major insurers not offering insurance at all.

I have found Aviva are prepared to offer me a start up discount which gives me an ok'ish premium but I am not finding many others to allow a good comparison.

Can anyone help?

I used Directline when I did this as they seemed to understand it and gave me a "discount" but you should also try the forum sponsors A Plan on here who I am sure would try to help.
