b-star Posted August 26, 2016 Report Share Posted August 26, 2016 Hi Just took the cap off my brake fluid reservoir only to find that when I try to tighten it back up that the thread engages and it starts to tighten but then the cap just pops off. I'm not over torquing it as it pops off with little or no pressure. Has anyone else had this happen with their cap? My car is a 2003 986 if that helps.
