runner
Anyone any idea what the price is having had to change there's please for a genuine Porsche glass replacement ? Plus, if you went with a Non OEM screen, just a Autoglass non Porsche original would it massively impact on resale value do you think? Thanks all ... Jofoley
Doesn't the OEM screen have the radio aerial in it?
rowbos
I had this discussion with Autoglass when they replaced mine a while back. Have a look at this thread for some info from a few of us... When I asked for OEM they wanted another £350 I think on top of my excess. I decided from what I had read to let them bring whatever they specified as long as it was OEM spec (as it was likely to be OEM anyway) and it turns out that they had to order an OEM screen from Nottingham OPC - I saw the invoice to them - it was around £500 I think. But I just paid the excess... I would check very carefully what they bring before you let them fit as they had a couple of goes with me - the first screen had a slightly different shade band so I asked them to try again. Also they insisted on having two guys to fit the screen at my home as it was a specialist job - no complaints from me! Good luck - it took me a while to sort but the end result was worth it.
