Patrick Bateman
What's the recommended oil as I can't find anything concrete other than it being a 75W 90 weight? Have people done this? My manual states changing it at 120k miles/12 years so I suspect most won't have unless they have an early car like me.
Toeside
Oil is a very contentious subject. Watch this space! A quality/trade based synthetic gearbox oil to the correct spec will be suitable (IMO) There will be a significant difference in price between brands but a refresh of oil at that mileage with the correct spec oil will help the shift considerably Judge the mileage and cost of your vehicle and don't get carried away with cost (again IMO) Most motor factors will recommend a suitable product base on your number plate and offer alternatives (price based)
