Rammas1066
Hi Guys, I've only had my Porsche 2.7 987 (MY 2005) 2 weeks, had it checked by an Indie last Saturday, they put it it on ramps & reset the headlight washers & heated seats...all good...however, driving home tonight the PSM/ABS failure lights came on. I turned the engine off & when turned back on all was okay & no error message but when I went out again later they came on again but seemed to rectify once engine turned off/back on. Any thoughts ?? Do I need to book in to garage?? Did a search and some forums suggested a 'common glitch' Cheers in advance
Nobbie
Sounds like it could be a dodgy sensor that is used by both systems. As it's done it twice in quick succession, probably won't just fix itself, so worth booking it into a garage and getting them to plug it into diagnostics to see what fault has been stored in the memory. ziggy
Brake light switch is a common cause. Part cost is less than £10, my Indy fitted f.o.c
