Generallee
Just thought I would post that I used a hypodermic syringe to inject oil into my front ball joints, through the rubber boots - what a difference!! like a new car!! Used to creek and squeak all the time. Still got my lumpy erratic idle when hot. Had codes read - no codes present. Thinking one of the purge valves could be sticking... the saga continues... golfprorich
I had a creaky balljoint, my local indy said to do the lube injection and it worked a treat. I'm sure they could've said it needed replacing but as they know I do the majority of my own work they knew I wouldn't be taking it in for it to be done so the advice wasn't costing them anything

And how much?
Generallee
I used some 5/30 and about 30ml in each joint - it was hard to push anything thicker through the needle. Really not much at all. I wonder how many suspension parts have been changed that didn't need it over the years??????
