TomGW
I have only ever seen one with alcantara/cloth inserts on the (half leather) seats and it had the standard, not extended leather, interior. It would certainly put me off. The standard finish has no leather on the doors or dash top. Combined with the cloth seat inserts it was a very basic cabin for any car. According to the owner/seller of the car I looked at, the half leather was a cost option, so there may be a full alcantara/cloth spec too. TBH, it was viewing this car, which was very low mileage and mint, that made me determined to put 'extended leather' high on my list of desirable spec. This adds leather to the dash top and door cards.
el 3.2S
https://www.coches.net/porsche-boxster-27-2p-gasolina-2000-en-alicante-33366868-covo.aspx I have seen quite a few here in Spain with the cloth inserts, as per link. Maybe some see it as a benefit due to the heat?
