Whiteraven49 Posted March 25, 2019 Report Share Posted March 25, 2019 I'm sure this subject has been hashed over before but this is my version. 987 sat thru the winter in heated garage with a nice cover over it.Now spring is here in Alaska so off comes the cover, put the key in and I get nothing. Got the manual out,did everything the manual said to do multiple times. Still nothing. Went the "you tube" route. Saw a video about the release cable being accessible via the wheel well on the driver side. Take the wheel and tire off first. At least one lug nut requires a special socket, guess where that is. The manual says the last step is to push frunk button on the key fob for two seconds,nothing happens. the last step should also include "be certain there is a good battery in the fob as well".
