Dazzevans Posted April 1, 2021 Report Share Posted April 1, 2021 Morning guys I was getting an odd noise from the steering yesterday so I’ve had the engine cover off for the first time to check the power steering fluid level (which isn’t registering on the dipstick by the way, CHF 202 inbound!). While I have the cover off is there anything I can do maintenance/husbandry wise? Air filter looks clean. Should I lubricate the roof mechanism? If so silicone or lithium spray? Thanks in advance for the advice. P.S. will bike looking for steering leaks etc, island I’ve given the components a good clean. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BBB Posted April 1, 2021 Report Share Posted April 1, 2021 Lubricate the roof mechanism for sure, even if you can do this with the engine cover on. Dry PTFE spray seems to be popular, but I used spray lithium grease by WD40.
