daveg
I'm looking at a set of 18" 718 wheels with winter tyres to fit to my 2016 981. The fronts are the same size but the 718 rear is a different rim: 9.5J RO49 as opposed to 9J RO47 recommended for the 981. Tyres are the same sizes. Looking at charts it seems the inner rim is likely to be about 4mm closer to the suspension. Anybody know if this is likely to be a problem? Also would the tyre pressure sensors be compatible? Any advice appreciated. Cheers. David
daz05
If they fit the 718 they will fit the 981, some of the 20" wheel options are 9.5" anyway. Would guess the sensors should be but not a deal-breaker for winters.

daveg
The wheels were sold elsewhere in the end! According to this useful calculator the inner rim would be 8.3mm closer to the suspension and the outer 4.3mm wider which makes sense as that adds up to approx 0.5" https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=265&aspect=45&diameter=18&wheelwidth=9&offset=47&width2=265&aspect2=45&wheel_size=18&wheel_width=9-5&offset2=
