_ian Posted January 27, 2022 Report Share Posted January 27, 2022 I just had a phone call from the building concierge from where my car is parked and he said that he'd spotted my car lights were flashing but there was no alarm sounding. He'd looked at the car and didn't see anything untoward. By the time I phoned him back he said it had stopped. Does the 987 have one of those alarms that has a "detected something minor" stage that might do this rather than having the siren go off fully? Has anyone ever had this happen before? (So the whole street isn’t kept awake) or. Your alarm is faulty and the horn/siren isn’t working. don’t know if there is a separate alarm siren or if it uses car horn to be honest. suggest a test when you get back to the car. Leave a window open and lock it, leave it a minute or so then wave your arms about through the window. also check the car horn is working.
