Daibrins
So I’m out in my 2013 2.7 enjoying the great weather in the Uk when I went above a certain speed and got a warning of “ spoiler failure” didn’t think much of it but now the button in the cab does not light and spoiler won’t go up. I have checked the fuse all good so what could it be? I’m not that bothered but I like everything to work Look forward to any suggestions and how to fix David
daz05
Disassemble everything and cross your fingers it is something obvious, the mechanism is probably expensive.
Daibrins
How do I disassemble as I thought you have to raise the spoiler to get to the fixings? I’m sure it was in my previous
daz05
I think so yes screws are accessed from the rear with bootlid open to remove the spoiler, see if you can access or try a gentle pull up. These normally get stuck up and not down. Also check if you have any damp under the passenger seat that's where the module is that controls your spoiler, the rear bcm. It might be wet! Any other errors yet?
