@Bluepork03 yes I have strongly considered it but as highlighted above, I would want to install mesh etc as well. With a wife and young child I still don't want to be out at my car all day. I need to find a happy medium!
My starter motor has started to do a pig squeal! So going to attend to that and clean the throttle body whilst it's out. Then I will inspect front bumper area.
@Halfordwill good tip about the fans!

Removed all the scuttle panel and under bonnet plastics. Cleaned out the area under the windscreen and polytrol'd all the plastic before replacing.
Nice to see it black again!
It's amazing how much rubbish is in and around there. It's on my to do list, as well as cleaning behind the front bumper....procrastinating that one though as I think I know what I will find...damaged condensers!

I have kept mine taxed with hope of being able to drive it the long way to the shops...sometime?! Cars, especially Porsches hate staying still.

Put new centre caps on....please excuse the lack of tyre shine, insides of wheels and the wheel bolts! Wheels coming off in next week for a proper clean and bolts are due to be painted in the next week too!

@Patt risky that one as the black paint seems to stain/dry into the silver spray paint quick!

You could maybe try a Loew-Cornell Fine Line pen. Several of us invested last year after a recommendation on here. It's fantastic for small stone chips as you can just apply small amounts very gradually so may do the job for you too.
Oh I will have a look into that, thank you. My car is black too so may come in handy?!
EDIT: I recognise what they are now after a search. I have seen "Ammo" the American detailer use those. He has since been using fine tip syringes for chips.

@red rocket many thanks. Up close they are not the best. Will keep them as winter centre caps or something! The ones I brought were second hand but taken off a car from when it was brand new. I also can't do "Stuttgart" with the paint brush as it's too small. Might get a felt tip pen and then lacquer over the top?! I shall see but leaving for now...
@Halfordwill I did a bit of research into simply the "brightest silver" about. Above I used Ford Moondust Silver.

Continuing to refurbish Centre caps...I have subsequently already bought a nice original very good condition set that would have been too good to miss! BUT! Covid-19 means I have a bit of time to play and already had the black paint and tiny paint brush!

Is there not a way Porsche can bring up all the details of a particular car if you give them the chassis number or something?

AR04BXR on a description check says 260bhp

Just went through this thread from start to finish, immense bravery doing this project but you seem to be battling well with it. If you're going to be quid's in from it, it seems to have been absolute sense to get your car back and make some pennies whilst you're at it. Have you managed to decipher what those codes mean in english?

@jcbaldock That's a superb looking car

That looks great! 996 gearknob too?

Your 993 looks beautiful. Silver's not usually my favourite colour too but shows off the lines well. I think a 993 C4S in any colour would float my boat!
