Looked at a new lizard green 718 T ,in the showroom but after several salesman they concluded I couldn't buy the one in the showroom as its only for feking display purposes only so will be going else where but was happy with the trade in value

Picked up from Lee @ Cotwold porsche after a full service and got a free coffee mug 😀
Then went to the Porsche dealership to enquire about a trade in and upgrade near by
-
for the 1st time in 6yrs of ownership it failed the MOT on x1 ball joint and corroded brake pipes,it will be ready to be picked up Fri afternoon - i also have it booked for a major service at Cotswold Porsche as he's worth the drive every time

I did the same today😳
Went over to Portland for brekky and she insisted on driving home. Same as you, no kerbing or any other damage, phew!
Issue is, she now wants to take the Boxster to her annual Wimbledon ladies gathering😳😳😳
I have the same issue - wife is away this wknd on a girls wknd, she's worried about taking the EV as it's over 250 miles away, she doesn't like driving my truck so got no choice what scares me the most is she's a speed demon and drives like she stole it so I'm expecting her to pick up a speeding ticket!

my 1st 986 2.7 had an oil n filter change at Silverston Porche - they told me they found metal in the oil and not to worry - 3/4 wks later the IMS went pop after that i used Dovehouse in Northants when i upgraded to a 986S,who informed me that with every oil change with older models they did the magnet through the oil as a standard procedure
-
id run a magnet through the oil and go from there?
-
And when we finally move i will have a nice large garage and will no longer need it, so will be going up for sale potentially mid July

Looks stunning.
Are you allowed to have a no displayed on a road car, i thought it was not allowed due to inciting racing.
Urban myth, there's no issue with a number being displayed and seeing as I live in a street where some of my neighbours are plod they would have mentioned it by now

The West Country has fantastic hills

Done nothing to it but take it for a blat to West Bay for fish n chips by the harbour then coast road to Weymouth for a stroll along the beach with the wife, temp didnt get above 13 but wife "let me" have the top down all day lol
-
As weather was good today, got a few midges all over the car so gave her a good wash ready for the morning drive to work again

Keep it !
I was also looking at a change last Yr,wife fancies the R8 v10 ,I even contemplated going back to sports bikes,I'd probably get no more than £26k for my 981s as I'm nearing 59k miles - considering the amount of luggage to can pack in these it ticks all of our boxes
The only thing I'd upgrade to now is a GTS 4.0 ... if I win the lottery as a house purchase has quashed any new toys

Poped over to the house today to take some measurements - took the scenic route and top down for the 1st time this yr - passed x2 911s who both flashed lights/waved before me,thats a 1st!!
