I’ve just been on a weekend Scottish road trip and mine didn’t move once. It’s called an ESR Halolock. Superb piece of kit. 👍🏼

To do the puddle lights you have to tap into the footwell lights. I have the lights and wiring ready to install it’s just finding the time.
I think on the 991 they are wired into a control module actually in the door and if you do the same on ours it brings up an error.
The simplest way is to just take a pair of wires from the puddle light locations, through the door boots and then connect up under the footwells.
The projection lights do look very smart. 😁👍🏼 -
Another superb video D 👏
The Marigolds made me laugh 😁

Will be great to hear how the C5 holds up
I’ve used C5 for years.
It’s a superb product.
I have the same wheels as you and they are fiddly but protected and cleaned properly they shine! Beautiful wheels. -
Ok so I decided to go for the GTS diffusers. I’ve applied a coating of Gtechniq C4 to them so now is the time to put it all back together.
Given the bumper is off it should be easy. 👍🏼👍🏼
Ps Thanks for the tips and hints chaps. It’s very much appreciated. 👌🏼👍🏼 -
Superb video Daz. Well done 👏🏼👍🏼

I'm just looking at the GT4 diffuser now as well as the GTS one.
The GT4 has the gap with mess behind it and I suppose if you have Zunsport grilles to the front it would match nicely.
Trying to decide which one to go for...........🤔
-
I did it yesterday and those clips around the exhaust.....What the! 😤
I'm going to take that piece around the exhaust off today and give those tips a good polish and then seal with Gtechniq C4. That will keep them cleaner for longer.
Re the parts, my dealer is saying that the rear diffuser comes complete with the exhaust surround, L+R diffusers AND the elongated plastic chassis that the diffusers secure to....🤔
I'm also going to take the fins out of the bottom front bumper and give the areas a good clean and also seal with Gtehcniq C4. I've never taken these off before so it should be interesting. I hope its not as bad as those clips around the exhaust yesterday 🙄

Thread re-vival 😝
Finally going to order the 2 diffusers and give this a go.
Would you say bumper off is the easier method?
👍

If I was to get another car I’d be keeping the 981 without doubt.
It is such a perfect all round car amd it’s looks are beautiful.

I really like these for our cars. I've always thought that area needed a little bit more.
My main concern, as above, is them coming away as researching I think they are fixed with tape and adhesive. 😏

I’ve used CG for years. Chris is absolutely superb at what he does. Wouldn’t go anywhere else 👍🏽

Where is it from Roose please?

I like that too!

@daz05Snap!
Also there is no proper way of plugging into the controller in the door like VW!
-
I have the S wheels Daz.
I've always used the Porsche spacers too so I wonder why they don't stock a set for our cars that run 20's??
-
I'm considering spacers for mine.
I run 20's but on the Porsche website I can't see a product listing for this size of wheel. Apparently the set they do stock are not recommended for 20" rims 😏

Superb vid Daz. I viewed it before.
Another little add on I've now got to do!
I thought my BS drove really well too but this, I assume, will make it far far better!

A superb additon!
Have a listen for the intake noise 😉

I think tomorrow I will proof the roof so to speak on the 981.
I'm using Gtechniq I1 V2.
Its first class stuff.
-
Chris Weaver from Exel Wheels is your man for the wheel refurb. First class.

Fitted the GTS rear defuser, with a slight twist:
Did you have any issues like some other people have had with the central part?👍

A good few weeks ago I cleaned the roof properly on my 981. I used Gtechniq W5 APC and now the roof is well dry I think I'll use the I1 I also purchased to seal and proof it.
I love Gtechniq products. The same as 'Ronseal' products terminology 😁

PIAA. Not the cheapest but they are the best I’ve ever used.
I found them cheapest on ebay.
