Lapped the  Nordschleife all be it very slowly 😂😂 Right on cue as the Tourist session began the heavens opened. That’s the “Green Hell” for you 😂😎😂

I’ve had my 997 and 981 on here. The 981 wins hands down every time for pure driving pleasure. 👌🏽

I'm in the process of installing something else, with a 4 in it.

I contacted the company who make this unit to see if they had any plans for the appalling CDR31 some of us have. Yes, you’ve guessed it, not presently.
The CDR31 really is the pits. 😏

Just to be clear they prise up in about 5 seconds no messing with door card. To be honest it's an easy job too, bolted in rather than those nasty plastic clips.

What is the match like to the existing leather please Daz?

I'm hopefully seeing Robin in a few weeks to have my puddle lights activated :-).

Took my Agate 2013 981S (owned it for 8 years) to Porsche Centre Solihull yesterday and picked up a replacement 2016 981S in Guards Red. Amazing car in fantastic condition. In my researches I reckon the difference between a 2016 GTS and an S of the same age, spec and miles is at least £8k and often £10k or even £12k. That's a lot of money for a G & T!  After a test drive in a GTS I couldn't find any discernible difference on the road vs my old S with PASM, Sport Chrono etc, so looked for another well-specified S instead. This one has everything I want, even the recently released MY 2021 PCM maps!

What made you swap from a 2013 to 2016? Was it better and lower miles? 👍🏼

  5. If you need to do them definitely get an Indy. OPC will charge you the earth plus it will obviously need re-gassing which they are fortune for too!

If it is holding gas I'd give those condensers a really good clean out and possibly take the front bumper off to also get behind them. That's a nice Saturday morning job to do ;-).

Fingers crossed all is ok. 👍

  6. When my 981 was new the original owner complained about this after 1.5 years of use. Porsche stated it was normal as it does happen sometimes.

I long debate ensued and ultimately they paid half towards the replacement cost of a new one.

Flash forward to present day................The replacement still has the same problem 😉
