Hi Chris hope your well.

I had a major service two new rads and a dryer and some sort of Bush replacement Lee guessed the cause of me suddenly getting three warnings one after the other lost of PSM but ok to drive stop start not available cruise control turned on but would not engage all on a drive back from Shrewsbury.

I thought if fact I was sure it was my battery but Lee at Cotswold Porsche Specialists said it was this Bush and its all sorted now just an empty bank account to sort our now 😢 😭.

MOT was a pass with only a bizarre minor for slightly damaged front number plate - think it has started to delaminate a bit… have been meaning to order some fresh plates anyway

I know how frustrating it is to get a silly observation on your MOT pass on mine this year the tester quoted an observation for screen obscured because I forgot to remove my phone holder that was attached to the window before it was tested. It would have been a clear pass if not for that.

It was a very long and expensive day 😪 but made nicer to have a nice company again sorry I can talk the legs off a chair.

When I first had my 986 the aircon was not working and it turned out to be the long pipe and cost  fortune I'm afraid.

Well it seems these days you can't even give things away.

It will make a good dust cover for my electric bikes.

Stormforce 986 4 layer cover complet with its bag free to a longstanding member when collected.

Not sure of how good the condition is used it for a few years but change my car for a 981.

If after tou collect it you like it you could think about making a small donation to the boxter website.

Anyone know how to change the miles to read kilometers on the 981.

On the 986 it was easy but not sure on 981 I'm currently in Germay touring and would find it useful

When I bought my981 the back lights where already tinted and apparently the head lights also but they removed the head lights Tint before I saw it.

I thought that too but the website says for all models from 2010 to 2016 I think

Getting back on topic I looked at this site today and it seems they offer software to update a pcm 3.1 with version 3 firmware to version 4 firmware  you can get tha download to burn to disc for £10 or they will send you a disc for £39 has anyone tried this option.

Hi I don't have a picture of before or after sorry I can take one now but you need to see them in different light angles to see how bad they were.

They dont replace the lenses they sand them then spray them this improves the look and more importantly reduces the sunlight damage you get over time. My guy charged £60 a bit expensive but i know he is really good because he did my 986 and they came back like new.
