I find my Bosch wipers judder after just a few months of very limited use, and I clean them regularly. Are there any better alternatives that anyone uses?

Why don’t you just ask them?
I did and the parts dept were not 100% sure. Looking at the advice from Ringmaster and Greenman they will fit. 👍🏻

Hi all. Really tempted to get the PSE fitted to my base 981 Boxster which has Boxster S twin tips on the end (not sports tips). The price through OPC is around £500 cheaper if new tips are not required. Does anyone know if an OPC will fit the PSE using my Boxster S tips rather than the Sports tips that they quote as part of the full package?
Thanks
Andrew

well i thought i'd join in, and just see what i got from WBAC, 30,700 and now 31,000 today. Im actually very tempted by that, ive spent a fair bit on it but ive enjoyed it. I was just about to pull the trigger on a carplay unit but id be tempted to sit out the market for a bit cash in pocket and see what else comes up.
You have done so much to yours Rob, you might regret selling!

As Scuba said - cig lighter socket is the most convenient way - I use the one in the passenger footwell. They are intelligent on the Boxster - plug a battery conditioner in and it will remain functional with ignition off and car locked, alternatively if you leave something plugged in that will drain the battery it cuts off after c20mins. Clever stuff...

Ex F-type owners have said the same here, it's too wide for those roads. You have a hell of a car.

All good feedback to stop me from making a mistake!
I can't help but think the F-Type is all about the looks and the noise....I need to stop thinking about it....

After checking my valuation on WBAC they have now increased their offer to £27395 for my base 981 Boxster 2013 with 30k miles. This is nearly £3k more than what I paid a year ago. It got me thinking whether I should take advantage of the high prices for our cars and take the plunge on an F Type convertible - a bit of a dream car for me.
So I took out the Boxster for a blast down some B roads on Sunday in between the showers and thought that I couldn't see an F Type being able to keep up with me through the corners. It really is the best handling car I have ever owned and it took me a while to find a 1 owner car in great condition.
I am staying put knowing that we all have cars that are holding their value brilliantly at the moment - quite a nice place to be in....

Oh, I'd also be interested in how you find phone usage. Mine is a bit erratic and answers on the PCM, and not the Joyeauto..for incoming calls. I might see if there is new firmware for the Joyeauto tho, as an upgrade I did a while back did sort out some previous usability issues.
Think I read somewhere that you need to totally unpair your phone from the PCM bluetooth. I did this so that the phone is only connected to the Joyeauto unit and it works seamlessly. Hope you get it sorted. 👍

Hi, thanks very much. Yes the OEM mics are in there. Works well but recommend removing the wind cover as you don't need it anymore.
Great, will sort at the weekend. Currently have the mic at the top of the windscreen pillar and occasionally catch it when getting in the car. 👍🏻

Another great video Daz and a fine collection of cars and Scottish countryside at the end. I didn't think of installing the mic under the steering column cover when I did mine - is this where the OEM mic is situated, and does it work well?

Any chance of you posting a demo of your Revolution mod? I'm weighing up getting this done vs Carnewal.
Not sure how to upload a video from iCloud, can anyone help?

Sounds amazing. I have the Revolution internal mod which is similar to the Carnewal. Looks like this is an external bypass?

I tried the free exhaust mod on the 981 today - loosening and sliding the clamped sleeve between the top pipe on the back boxes to create a small gap. If anyone if thinking of doing this, don't bother - with just a 2mm gap the car sounded horrendous, and had terrible drone. At least I scratched the itch. Back to stock now.....

Great video Daz. Was that your attempt at Split by James McEvoy? 😆

£435 delivered from 9 Apart. Expensive but will always be worth +£300 when you eventually sell the car if you keep the originals. 👍🏻
A set available on eBay....not great condition though

Fitted a set of GTS rear lights. Makes the car look more aggressive at the back - love them...

The lettering is actually on the new German glass wind deflector. I copied Davidbf1.com they are brake decals. I put Silver over White (same as Davidbf1.com )
They come is packs of 3 per colour. I want to keep one set as spare but you are welcome to the other set. Don't think they will work on mesh though.
Or anyone else with glass / perplex wind deflector want a them?I can post them if I have your address. (not sure how we do that?) Newbie.............
Cheers
Ah I see - a bit of an optical illusion! Thank you for the offer but as I have mesh let another forum member with Perspex take them....
thanks
Andrew

@Afrikaner I like the white Porsche lettering on your old mesh one. Where did you buy the lettering from?
thanks

Mine arrived today, with no delays for clearance or additional costs.
Only waiting now for the opportunity to test driv. Although cart is kept taxed and insured all year I've not been able to use it since last Oct due to the current situation.
Don’t you need some bread and milk? 😉

Cool, testing that theory with yesterday's activity.
Cleaned inside the wheels and painted those unsightly caliper bolts. Driver's side done, passenger side tomorrow maybe.
Yaay, that worked, cheers @rowbos👍
Like that, what paint did you use on the caliper bolts? Mine look awful...

9 months into ownership and discovered something new today. The roof opens with one touch of the switch when driving - I had always held the switch until the roof was fully down before. It doesn’t do this for closing - probably a safety thing. Perhaps it is about time I read the owners manual 😆

Did you order direct from Joyeauto in China or NMAutomotive? If from China did you get stung for duty?
Ordered from Joyeauto via Aliexpress and there was no duty. Maybe I got lucky.
What have you done to your 981 today?

So tempted to get PSE but worried about the stories of drone with PDK. Have you experienced any drone on yours at low revs?
