Really? A few months you think?
I haven't seen UK specific predictions but I think the virus is peaking in various places in Europe, I think most of this will be over in 6 weeks.
I hope you're right Meno -

Turned the engine over, put the radio on, told her I was really sorry I wouldn’t be driving her for a few months and she wouldn’t be going out to meet her friends, got a little teary and SORN’d her 😭😭😭

Really interesting - glad mine has heated seats - when looking for my car many on here said heated seats were a must - having used them for the first time on Sunday I can confirm that they were right - driving back from a PCGB meet in the frosty Cotswolds with the roof down my teeth were actually chattering, but at least my bum was nice and toasty 😂

I let my wife drive mine for the first time. No bending of metal or crunching of plastic, no flames and no blood spattered paintwork. I think we can say that's a result.
There’s still plenty of time ! 😉

“Captive nuts “ isn’t that what Linda will do to @John K if she ever finds out about his “postbox blondie “ thread 😱
Didn’t think you could make your car any prettier 👍

Changed the gearbox oil. New car to me but it had never been done in its 14 year life so was probably due.
Feels a bit more positive and I am fairly certain its a little less 'clanky' when engaging gears!
Old oil looked pretty clean but at least another job done and shouldn't need repeating for another good few years.
Brakes front and back done, coils, plugs drive belt all sorted. Now to move onto some suspension components - this car is already getting expensive!!
I asked Lee from Cotswold Porsche if I needed to change the gearbox oil on my 987 the other day and he said needs to be done after 10 years - so you should be ok for a while 😊

Got it back having handed it over on 10th May before we went off on holiday.
Back home this week and so it was brought back into town.
As it was started to reverse off the trailer I remembered just how much pleasure I get from this thing.
Sounds great, feels brilliant to jump in punch the shifter into first and move off. Felt very “bright” on the throttle - 👍
Had hoped to get the induction development finalised but no joy - all bespoke so nothing off the shelf which means it’ll have to wait for another time ☹️ - those horses can run but they cannot hide.....
Glad she is back with you.
Hope to see you both at the Boxster Munch if you can make it next week - think I read you are also doing the Goodwood festival of speed,so might be a bit tight time wise.
What have you done to your 981 today?
