Replaced the interior light housing, debating doing the battery change. I have the new one, I might just leave it until the weekend.

Did the ashtray delete thanks to Douglas Valley. Slightly wrong colour but it’ll do.

I changed mine as it fell on my head twice. Like the frunk, it now flies up from about a third of the way open.

Changed the frunk gas struts. What a difference!

Concur with Nick. I’m still waiting for my written report but he phoned me on the day of the inspection with all the detail.

It was my first job on the car, I’m glad I started with such an easy, and relatively cheap one. I actually have to push the boot down now rather than let it fall under its own steam!

Replaced both boot gas struts and gave the hinges and pivots a clean and lube. Now the boot lid doesn't fall on my bonce any more!

Took my sticky radio buttons off and gave them a clean with Cillit Bang. No longer sticky but I’m now debating whether to plasti-dip them.

Great minds think alike, this was going to be my solution too! Spare Switch blanks are cheap too if a mistake is made.

Took my wife for our first “top down” drive thanks to the rain yesterday. She didn’t stop smiling!

@TTGatorSince becoming interested in the marque I’ve watched a lot of your YouTube videos to prepare me for ownership. Great content and, if you don’t mind me saying, as you’re not a professional Porsche technician it gave me the confidence that these cars can be maintained by people that have the skills but not necessarily the years of experience and knowledge on the car. Fitted the Tip sump gasket, but something is not right there (see pic below), so destined to do that again (ugh!). Also replaced the two small rubber connecting pipes on the vacuum operated coolant valve on top of the gearbox. As a precaution.

Berni, from the videos I've watched you have to remove and refit the sump bolts in the correct order. Without trying to teach you to suck eggs, did you do that?
