  1. Used the sample pot of Owatrol that someone kindly recommended on here to get the black (well had kind of gone grey) plastic behind the front number plate to look & hopefully remain more black - no pics, but since applying a couple of hours ago it does all look nice & black and new 👍.

Then more of an achievement was fitting the Joe Toth ducktail spoiler that I'd been waiting patiently for weeks to fit pending a refitted windscreen noise to be sorted first - pics below.

Overall am really happy with it and think the product is very good. If I had my time again maybe would have got shipped without them paint matching as possibly might have been possible to get better finish locally (I think the colour is good but if being really picky the surface finish isn't as good as the actual car bodywork), and I would have tried to be even more precise when fitting the pretty much one time effort as once it sticks in place you can't really adjust - that and not having misplaced a hex bolt head down in to the back of the car somewhere (hopefully has just fallen all the way to the ground as can't hear any rattles having driven it).

  2. Yep - was about £110 including delivery and I did find a code here (that may be the one), but if it doesn't work then there was a loyalty / referral code in my order that says it will save 15% (add membership number 1006 41645), but if that 20% one is still working then that would be better.

Delivery direct from them was pretty good as think I ordered late Wed night and came during Friday.

  3. Following the instructions and additional tips from Smudger (thanks for that 👍), I managed to firstly realise that in my car with Xenons & LED daytime lights that I do not need to / can't consider changing side light bulbs before starting (so one less job to do), cleared out the odd few leaves in the scoops & sprayed some WD 40 down in there, and then get the Zunsport grills / covers fitted.

Notes from my on it are that it probably is worth using masking tape all along the bottom edge before you get used to how they fit - first one went in fine, but one of the lower clips on the second one was tricky to get seated & once I had it was so snug I couldn't peel all the masking tape off without partially removing again 😬, so glad I did use the tape as it may have scraped but then again if I hadn't I wouldn't have risked more chance of scratches by needing to remove it.

Once clipped in they definitely feel very well seated and I don't think chance of them coming loose by themselves or losing one whilst driving.

All in all I'm really happy with how they fit & look on the car understanding that they aren't a manufacturer provided part / designed for fitting when the lights & scoop areas where being made to have specific fittings. Being really picky there is still a slim gap in the centres but I don't think you could get it any closer and still clear the blades behind them, and at the top corner outer edges it does sit back a little deeper under the lights that in the middle (hopefully the pics help others see if they would be happy with that or not), but all in all, really happy with this 😁.

  4. Hi Steve,

Thanks so much for the useful info and additional tips about removing lights for more space to clear leaves / and spraying WD40 after clearing - would never have thought of that, but sounds like a good protective tip 😉.

I also didn't realise that after fitting they need to be removed each time to be able to change bulbs at the front so may consider a set of new bulbs like you suggest before fitting them.

Got them on the same basis as yourself really, with the preventative benefit being the main reason but also helps (and I suppose justifies the price), that they look good / kind of factory fit and you don't have to take parts of the car apart to fit them.

I'm pretty sure that with all the tips you've shared, I should be good & will get some pics up for how it looks after.

    Thanks a lot -- Chris

    Hi Smudger,

Thanks for posting the pics, as have some coming to hopefully fit this weekend before I accumulate more leaves in there.

Just wanted to ask how the fitting went, as they mention to use masking tape and am sure I've seen some posts with people saying they really cut your hands up if you don't wear gloves / would quite easily scratch the paint?

    Thanks -- Babaa
