Buzzfox Posted June 4, 2013 Report Share Posted June 4, 2013 Insurance time again so the hunt started!Renewal from Privilege was £664.Confused.com gave me a best price of £396.44 with a £950 excess on the policy which was also from Privilege!! Cheeky beggers methinks!I rung Steve at A-Plan who was doubtful he could match that quote on 2011 Boxster but he'd have a good look into it and call me back. He actually did call me back (something that rarely seems to happen these days) and said someone would get back to me from a different branch that specialise in the higher value market and guess what, I got a call back!Upshot is I've got a fully comp, NCB protected policy for slighty less that the confused quote but with half the XS and including full cover for our European trip later this year which Privilege would have wanted an extra 30 odd quid for.So I'm pretty happy with that and the service I've so far got from the A-Plan guys. Trouble is that I've now also got Mrs Buzzfox on the insurance so no more excuses not to let her drive the Boxster - don't think my nerves will take it!Anyway many thanks to Steve and Claire for your help - and for ringing me back when you say you're going to - if you just get some of my suppliers to do the same I'd be even more happy!!'If you need insurance and nobody else can help and if you can find them maybe you should call the' - well you get the idea with that!!
