delarge
Whats the deal with this , i have full NCB but i'm driving a company car at the moment . When i go back to a private car does my NCB still count or do i start from scratch . Can companies freeze it for you ?
T2DAV
i believe you may be able to claim some years NCB but you need to speak to the insurers concerned - I don't think all insurers will
unknown
You can usually get a few years' NCB transferred, e.g. 3.

BrianJ
Quoteline Direct did the same with me - the letter came from the leasing company used by my company. Also 8 years.
catsflap
Yes, your insurer will require a letter from the company, someone at Director level to sign off that you have been insured for said period, without claims etc.I did this, and transfered full NCB, to insure the car myself, even though it was still owned by the company. Then i transfered two years off my company car, to receive full NCB for the box (privately owned) The reduction of 2 years off the company car, cost £80, though this should be nearly back to normal come renewal in February.
