Kooky 1976
I don't do this very often but this morning I found myself nose to nose at a three lane carriageway traffic light with a Dodge Challenger SRT (or at least badged as one). It was obvious he was going to go for it so I thought what the hell. I think I got a slightly better start due to grip but up to 80 (at which point he hit the brakes and I pulled up to a right turn light), we were literally equal. I know Boxsters (especially the 2.7) are not renowned for acceleration but even if it was a rebadged SXT I don't think the little Box did badly. The Challenger did sound awesome though. Southy
Boxsters aren't slow for cars of this vintage but compared to the current hot hatches they just can't compete. Everything else is fair game.
