villaman
Hi, may I please ask for your educated opinions... whilst i I love my 987 2.7, especially after spending a small fortune on her in the last 15 months, but I loved the short gears and torque of my old 986 S so I'm thinking of upgrading to a 987 S. so a bit of a newbie question, ...other than gearbox and engine are there any other differences between the two models? neil.c
Red brake calipers along with bigger brakes, 18" wheels, twin exhaust tailpipes 6 speed box and more power. plus all of the options you could find on the used market.
Araf
Bigger brakes and higher standard spec. Bear in mind that for MY06 the gearbox was changed to the Aisin unit which is much slicker. The problem is that you only had 6 months of production before the new tax bands made the rad fund £500ish per year.
neil.c
I think the spec was broadly the same, oh white dials too.
