karlp606
As above guys what I thought would be an easy job of swapping my bulbs for some new osram ones turned into a nightmare.... the holding mount that holds the power connector that the headlight locks into has broken, so when the headlight pushes back and locks into place it is not engaging into the power connector, looks like it needs a new part or could is there any other ways to try and manually plug it in? edc
Yes you can manually plug it in. Cut down the tray so you can pull the lead out further. Slide the headlight back just enough do you can fit a hand and clasp the connector. If you have fat hands you may be out of luck of just enlist the help of a child. Cool will wait for some daylight again! Suppose it doesnt matter if its in the mount or not as long as its connected!
edc
Of course you also need to remember to pull the connector out next time you remove the headlight.
The Caped Crusader
The parts are available relatively cheaply from an OPC. Probably best just to replace the broken part.
