Pezky
in the arm rest storage box, lift up the rubber mat and un-screw the cover
Gcar
On the 987 this is an automatic adjuster. Always best to adjust the brake shoes instead of the cable.

How does the auto adjuster work - I know on some cars you have to keep operating the hand brake Thansk
pgk188
This may help: - https://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Boxster_Tech/51-BRAKES-Parking_Brake_Adjustment/51-BRAKES-Parking_Brake_Adjustment.htm I have a 05 987 - as has been said there is no adjuster on the cable - you have to do it with a screwdriver through a hole in the top hat part of the rear disc - with the wheel off. Its a bit of a fiddle - and don't get the shoes to tight onto the drum as they will bind and get hot when driving. I hope this helps
