ianbadams
Found out today that I need new handbrake cables (I believe there's two). Handbrake is seizing on. Also in addition to the cables a couple of pipes/tubes that the cables go through and into the hub. Just wondering if anyone knows what these parts are called so I can try and source them myself to see if I can get them cheaper than what my independent is quoting. With parts and labour gonna cost about £500 for the work.
edc
The alu tube you can just pull out and measure and buy something appropriate. Mine was fixed on a visit to Centre Gravity when I was doing suspension work so it's not hard to anyone vaguely handy with a pair of pliers. ianbadams
@edc Cheers mate. It was over the phone so can't remember exactly but I think I was quotes £45 x2 for the cables and I'm sure the tube was £90 and maybe x2 as well. Then 4 hours labour for the job. So coming in just shy of £500+vat. Thought I could get the parts cheaper.
