Simon_R
Starting to see few notch changes going down the box from 4th into 3rd. Not rushing changes & clutch is fully down but it’s always going into gear. Up from 2nd to 3rd & every other change through all the gears is fine & there is no clutch slip. Is this a matter of adjusting the cable do you think? I’m considering a short shifter anyhow so would set up @ the same time & have been lead to believe if fitted they may need a tweet after a few miles. Oh & short shifter Y/N? Any thoughts on that & the above much appreciated. Cheers Simon
edc
How many miles on the car? Sounds like a possible front engine mount worn out. Unlikely that all your syncros are gone.
Simon_R
99K. Would that manifest itself this way? Every other gear change is slick down the box, & all the upshifts are perfect.
BoxsterSPete
Try bliping the throttle between gears. If if goes in easier it will probably be a synchromesh issue in the box. Hope it's ok
