grommett Posted May 15, 2018 Report Share Posted May 15, 2018 I know this subject has been done to death as the much maligned standard CDR31 stereo is basically a punishment for not paying for the optional PCM system. When I bought my 981, I made the stupid assumption that if a car had bluetooth telephone system, you would also be able to stream music. Silly me. Anyway, as I can't find a Dension type product that will show track names on the display, and enable skip/pause/play using the CDR31 buttons, I am now considering changing the head unit. Has anyone done this already? Is there a surround available that would make it look like a factory fit? Is there a head unit that will still enable the parking sensors display? Here's hoping.
