Simon_S
My alarm has triggered 3 times in the last couple of days all near the middle of the day with full sunshine in through the rear window when parked outside my house. Twice I was within a few metres of the car and could see no good reason why. Is it possible the cabin temp is causing this?
karlp606
Could be temp and causing something to expand and trigger the alarm.
Simon_S
I was thinking it might be the cabin sensor but since my last post I locked it with the cabin sensor disabled. It went off again. So I've unlocked it and disconnected the battery. Hopefully this will silence it for the time being. It hasn't been driven for a while so I'm going to go for a run to loosen everything up. Lonewolfgjp
How fresh is your battery? A faulty battery can cause alarm issues ?
Simon_S
Interesting. It's not had a great deal of use the last few weeks as I've been teaching son #3 to drive. I'll check the voltage and give it a charge tonight.
Qwerty987
I’ve had a 15plate M3 and 64plate Mitsubishi Shogun that both alarmed in bright sunshine. It was my perception that they did it if window glass very dirty????
