the baron
While I was repainting my calipers yesterday I noticed they were Brembo, was this standard issue on a 2.5 986?

ed80
They are a common upgrade for lesser cars too. My old E46 used to run Boxster calipers at the rear
Matthew in GA
Brembo made in Italy. Did you replace the decal with Brembo or the Porsche logo? Show pictures-

Boxster 986 black calipers are anodized so you need to be a bit careful on what paint you use.
richardjjs
Not sure you are correct. If you are correct who supplies Porsche with Discs and Pads. Was told they are Original Parts Very Nice Discs are also anodised and don't rust
T911UK
Brembo do not supply Porsche discs or pads, SHW supply discs, most pads are Textar Brake discs will rust on the main surface, you cant cover that with anything as they are naturally wearing surfaces, hubs and edges are different and can be painted plated etc
