PCM 2.1 Resetting (key memory?)

So, I have been trying to figure out the PCM 2.1 system in my car. Thing is I imported the car from Germany and somehow the PCM always seems to be returning into the user settings from the previous owner after the key is taken out or the car is restarted (so is my clock btw..). I am not switching keys, just using key no2.

So in my case I have;
- Specific audio settings
- Specific language settings
- Radio stations in memory
- My clock returning to the wrong time

What I did;
- Reset the PCM to Factory settings
- Upgrade the PCM to the latest available version
- Went trough all menu's to see if I can save the settings somewhere, but I havent been able to find it.
- Try to figure out the German PCM Manual but it seems the memory function is not discussed

Is there anyone who has the key to solve this issue? I guess its a memory recovery setting stored on my key, as everything is returning to a previous state. Battery is fine car is running great and no error messages...
I do have the memory seats and tried to program the setting to key (no1) but it only stores the seat and mirror position.

Anyone here who can help me out on this?

If you have Sport Chrono, you will also have the Individual Memory settings for the keys.  IIRC it is in the MAIN/settings menu.  (For some odd reason, Extended Navigation functions came as part of the SC package).

If not, then the key settings have to be changed using a PIWIS tester.  If you are anywhere near me I would be happy to do it for you.

Hi Richard,

It's was not in the main settings menu, but I have upgraded the PCM today. Will check it, as I do have the Sport Chrono Package. So it's probably stuck to my key and I should reset it somehow, as I am the only one driving the car and just want the settings to be set and stay without having to visit a piwis / specialist to change my radio settings 🙄

Unfortunately were not close, else it would have been an option to pay you a visit.
