Lozzaroo
Hi guys, the clamps holding the tailpipes onto my exhaust are rusty and cracked. Is there any reason why I shouldn't use generic stainless clamps from ebay over OEM replacements? Given the state of the OEM ones, it's not like they're great quality. And does anyone know the diameter of the clamps I would need please? 987.2 2.9 btw. Ta
Nobbie
Do you mean the ones from the U bends to the cat or the rear box? On earlier cars it was a 45mm/1 3/4" sleeve connector one end and a mikalor 47-51mm clamp at the other. I got them off eBay.
Lozzaroo
Yes from the U Bend to the tips.
