Tubzilla
I want to sell a Gen 2 PDK steering wheel with switches and would like to know if it would fit a Gen 1 Tiptronic. I have fitted a sports wheel with flappy paddles.
Paul P
Recently discussed here. Not sure how far @Hanny got in the end but I seem to remember the pdk buttons worked for the tip but best from the horses mouth.
Hanny
Hi, it will depend on the car being fitted to and the year of the steering wheel, a limited few fitted without any new parts being needed, ie if the Gen 1 had multifunction fitted etc. On mine I had a wheel from another type of Porsche but the PDK paddles worked with coding, how ever as I did not have multifunction previously, to get the buttons buttons requires a change of control module, also if the wheel has heating element then you need to also change the clock ring. I have sourced new control module and clock ring from Rose Passion in France but not fitted as yet. Hope this is of help.
