sa utah Posted October 20, 2019 Report Share Posted October 20, 2019 The bungee strap on my boxter top has rotted away at the end as it would appear its just been sat in the drip try instead of being stuck to the underside of the roof as per other 987 boxsters if looked at. Basically the hoop which would fit over the leading edge of the roof when you`re in service mode has broken. It`s not the end of the world as I have plenty of ways to secure the roof when I`m working on it but I was wondering if the strap is available and if it`s even something that can be swapped over. The other boxsters i`ve seen had a velcro bit about half way along the roof so hold it out of the tray.. Mine doesn`t ! Theres a small hole in the bottom frame so I wonder if the vecro part / clip just vanished. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
