sa utah
I’m struggling to pick up a factory Bose subwoofer to first modify and then fit behind the seats as per standard on a Bose equipped 987.1 can anyone confirm if the sub from a 987.2 (floor mounted it appears in the passenger footwell) will fit and if so how does it physically attach? These are much cheaper and easier to get hold of my plan is to rip out the Bose drive unit and fit something better in the enclosure indont want to fit anything non factory looks wise so no suggestions of subs under seats etc etc thanks ! cheers
Lonewolfgjp
I don’t think there is a floor mounted sub in my 987.2? There is definitely one on the parcel shelf and it is the same as in my 987.1👍
Liberty
I wouldn’t be without my Bose parcel shelf (currently in storage)I think you’re correct about modifying said unit.It.weighs a ton and really doesn’t work that well.
sa utah
The parcel shelf versions command decent money and as I’ll be throwing the cr*p Bose drive units away I sort of begrudge spending over 200 quid. Hence my thoughts on the footwell one I’ll stick with my hunt for the parcel shelf one on reflection I’ve got a 3 way Focal component set to go in and just want to get the bottom end sorted with a factory look sub. Lonewolfgjp
I think the 997 may have a passenger foot well sub in the Bose cars.
