Billzeebub
Does anybody know if the Porsche SatNav/stereo double-din system can be replaced with a single-din stereo/radio. With the climate unit being relocated to above the stereo unit like on a standard car? I don't like the sat nav system and want to do the console delete to give more legroom. thanks in advance
edc
Yes. You just need the cage trim for the single DIN.

GmanB
If you are considering a modern single DIN head unit as a replacement, then you need to double check and see if your sat nav stereo is MOST fibre connection to your amp, mine is and basically it means replacing the amp and speakers as well. On the MOST setup, the speakers run at 1-2 ohm impedance which is not great for standard 4-8 you get these days with most modern head units.
