Tony Daniel Posted August 21, 2020 Report Share Posted August 21, 2020 Miles from home today and my car wouldn't start. Message on the dash telling me to 'press clutch pedal to start'. After a quick google managed to do a car park repair by doing a bit of limbo into the footwell and removing the wires going to the white switch on the clutch pedal. Using a spare fuse and some insulation tape have now bypassed the switch. Car starts now without pressing clutch but who cares, might leave it like that so I'm never stranded again.
