Also has to be said that the boxster inlet although it allows the car to breathe relatively cool air is not in a place where the inlet is pressurized.  In fact the faster you go the faster the air is going past the inlet basically in the wrong direction. If there was some kind of airdam to create a high pressure area it might possibly do something. It would look fugly though. And be liable to damage. And probably achieve naff all.
